Helen McCrory would love her husband Damian Lewis to become the next James Bond - and she dreams of starring alongside him as M.
The 47-year-old actress would relish the chance to appear alongside her husband if he takes over from Daniel Craig as the iconic British secret agent.
Asked about the prospect of playing M - the head of the Secret Intelligence Service - with her husband as Bond, Helen enthused: "(Just think) Family and work together!"
Meanwhile, Helen also joked that the duo - who tied the knot in 2007 - had barely seen each other over the last 12 months because of their busy work schedules.
Damian, 45, has been filming the American TV series 'Billions' in New York in recent months, while she has been busy with her acting work and looking after their children.
Speaking to UK TV breakfast TV show 'Lorraine' as a photo of her husband popped up on the screen, Helen said: "There he is! Just to prove that we are married. That's the last time we saw each other, last March. That was shoved in between a few very busy schedules."
Despite this, Helen - who has a 15-year-old daughter called Manon and a 14-year-old son called Gulliver with her husband - admitted she's "lucky" she's able to balance her personal and professional life.
She confessed: "I think it'd be very hard to choose between motherhood and work."
