Haylie Duff is “pretty content” with two children, as she says she’s looking forward to being auntie to her sister Hilary Duff’s impending arrival.
The 35-year-old actress is mother to daughters Ryan, five, and Lulu, two, whom she has with her fiancé Matt Rosenberg, and has insisted she isn’t feeling baby fever, despite her younger sister Hilary currently being pregnant with her third child.
Speaking about Hilary’s pregnancy and what it means for her own family, Haylie told Us Weekly magazine: “You know, I’m going to get [Hilary’s] babies, so that should be enough for me. We toy [with] the idea and then I think to myself, like, ‘Oh, my gosh, Lulu is so crazy. She’s 2. What am I talking about?’ … We’ll see, I feel pretty content with two [kids].”
Hilary, 33, announced back in October she has a little one on the way, which will mark the second for herself and her husband Matthew Koma, with whom she already has two-year-old daughter Banks.
The ‘Younger’ star is also mother to eight-year-old son Luca, whom she has with former husband Mike Comrie.
And Haylie has admitted she’s secretly hoping she’ll have a new niece to join her daughters’ play group, although she insisted she’s “happy either way”.
She added: “I’m happy either way. I’m so obsessed with Luca, her son. But then Banks is so special and amazing too. … I think I’d be happy with another little girl. That would probably be my hope because my girls love playing with girls. So Luca could be the man with a whole bunch of girls to worry about.”
Though Haylie hasn’t had a chance to really connect with her sister amid the coronavirus pandemic, she said the mother-to-be is “doing great.”
