The One Direction singer and the model - whose parents are Oscar winner Sean Penn and 'House of Cards' star Robin Wright - recently started following each other on Instagram and Harry is hoping to meet up with Dylan in the near future.
The 21-year-old pop heartthrob reportedly wants to convince Dylan to go on a date with him.
A source close to Harry told Us Weekly magazine: "Harry likes her. And she thinks he's really cute."
Dylan, 24, was previously linked to Robert Pattinson following his split from Kristen Stewart in 2013, he is now engaged to FKA Twigs.
Harry has romanced a string of famous women, including Taylor Swift, Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner and Kimberly Stewart.
Earlier this year, the 'Drag Me Down' hitmaker denied rumours he was dating Joy Muggli, a 23-year-old talent agent from Los Angeles, after they met at mutual friend Jeff Azoff's birthday party in January.
Meanwhile, Harry's bandmate Louis Tomlinson is planning to spend as much time with his unborn baby when his former lover Briana Jungwirth gives birth early next year.
A source close to the 23-year-old star said: "He plans to be with the baby every minute he can. It's a very exciting time."
