Harrison Ford remembered the late Carrie Fisher as Mark Hamill was presented with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (08.03.18).

The 66-year-old actor was joined on the world-famous boulevard for the presentation by his 'Star Wars' co-star Ford, who took the opportunity to pay tribute to Carrie, who died in December 2016.
Ford - who appeared alongside Fisher and Hamill in 'A New Hope', 'The Empire Strikes Back', 'Return of the Jedi' and 'The Force Awakens' - said: "When thinking about today, I was really sorry we don't have the other member of our trio to celebrate with us, but I feel her presence."
During his speech, Harrison revealed he recently revisited Hamill's 'Star Wars' audition, admitting he was surprised by his then young co-star's talent.
He shared: "I was surprised by how good he was."
Hamill's acting ability was also lauded by 'Star Wars' creator George Lucas, who revealed he knew the actor was perfect for the role of Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker the moment he met him.
Speaking at the presentation ceremony in Los Angeles, 73-year-old Lucas explained: "Mark Hamill is a character that can't be written. He is extremity enthusiastic about everything he does, and that is exactly what I was looking for when I cast Luke Skywalker."
Meanwhile, Hamill - who has also starred in movies such as 'Kingsman: The Secret Service' and 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back' - admitted to being overwhelmed to have his own star on the legendary Walk of Fame.
He confessed: "It's hard to convey my gratitude, my joy and the exhilaration. I haven't been speechless since 'Force Awakens'."
Hamill also revealed the advice Ford, 75, gave him at the outset of his acting career.
He recalled: "He gave me the great advice, 'Hey, kid, Don't get cocky.' And I have tried to remember that to this very day."
