Harrison Ford is "learning" how to text.
The 73-year-old actor is currently in Australia promoting 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' but stays in regular contact with his wife Calista Flockhart and is embracing modern technology to communicate with her.
Asked if the actor is currently "in 'Star Wars' land", she told Jimmy Kimmel: "He is. He is currently in Australia.
"We talk all the time. He's learning how to text.. He's getting better."
But the veteran actor won't be using pictures and symbols in his messages.
When the talk show host enquired whether Harrison uses emjois, his 51-year-old wife said: "No. He says, 'Where'd you get that picture from?' It's really bad."
Meanwhile, the 51-year-old actress confessed her lack of knowledge of the 'Star Wars' franchise, admitting she was left confused when she was told her husband had broke his leg "on a Millennium Falcon" during an on-set accident last year.
She recalled: "A producer called me and she said, 'Hi Calista, I have some bad news. Harrison has been hurt, he had an accident. He was standing on a Millennium Falcon and the door fell.'
"And I thought that he was on some commercial airline, and the door fell off and he flew out of the airplane.
"And I called a friend of mine and I said, 'What the hell is the Millennium Falcon? I have never heard of that airline!' "
And the former 'Ally McBeal' actress admitted she never saw the hit movies when they were first released in cinemas.
Asked if she's seen the 'Star Wars' films, she told Jimmy: "I have now. When I was young we lived in a very small town - we didn't have a movie theatre."
