Harrison Ford is "doing well" after undergoing surgery on his broken leg.
The 71-year-old actor was airlifted to hospital last week after he was crushed by a hydraulic door at the Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire while filming for 'Star Wars: Episode VII', but he is now looking forward to getting back to work after his recent operation was a "success".
Harrison's representative said in a statement: "Harrison Ford's left leg was broken in an accident. His surgery was successful and he will begin rehab shortly. He's doing well and looks forward to returning to work."
However, a source close to Harrison - who plays Han Solo in the Disney sci-fi franchise - believes it could be a while before the star is able to return to filming as he'll need to spend at least a month in rehab.
The source told Us Magazine: "It's really unfortunate. He's been working so hard at this movie, he's pushed himself too hard. It sounds like he'll probably be rehabbing for a month or month and a half."
Meanwhile, bosses insist filming for the movie, which is set for release in December 2015, will continue as planned while Harrison recuperates.
