The 'Iron Man 3' is believed to have been discreetly dating the 'Glee' producer since last August but following their recent public display of affection while holidaying together in Italy, Gwyneth - who split from husband Chris Martin in March 2014 - is now happy for the world to see her happiness.
A source said: "Unlike Chris' furtive relationship with Jennifer Lawrence, Gwyneth doesn't mind making her happiness with Brad fully known.
"This is a new chapter for her and she's ready to publicly acknowledge that she and Brad are a couple."
Another source added: "After their most recent break-up, Gwyneth sees how important Brad is to her. It's been a challenging relationship, but now, after their first major European holiday together, friends are hoping they'll finally settle down following a shaky start."
The 42-year-old actress may have had a difficult time adjusting to her relationship with Brad, 44, in the early stages but they are now more committed than ever.
The source told Grazia magazine: "Gwyneth has found it hard to balance her new life with the relationship.
"They've briefly split up three times in the last year, most recently just a month ago, but this holiday marks a new sign of commitment between them."
