Gwyneth Paltrow has praised Chris Martin as "the best daddy in the word."

The 44-year-old actress, who split from the Coldplay frontman in March 2014 after 10 years of marriage, posted a heartfelt message to her ex-husband on Instagram today (02.03.17) to wish him a happy birthday.
Alongside a photograph of the former couple smiling with their two children, Apple, 12, and Moses, 10, the Oscar winner wrote: 'HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY to the best daddy in the world!!! We [heart] you so much!"
Gwyneth's glowing message to Chris comes just one day after she wished boyfriend Brad Falchuk, who she has been quietly dating since August 2014, a happy birthday via the same social media platform.
She posted a grainy picture of the couple sitting side-by-side, with the caption: "Happy birthday, handsome."
The 'Mortdecai' star previously admitted she and Chris have worked hard to stay friends following their split.
She said: "There was nothing dramatic or anything. I had built my life on trying to be all things to all people, and I just couldn't do it anymore, and I really had the sense that I wasn't allowed to have needs, and I had to prove my specialness or self-worth by doing all this stuff and taking care of everybody else, and I just sort of hit a wall.
"We've worked really f**king hard to get to [this] point. But we're very, very close, and it's so nice. I feel like it's, in a way, the relationship we were meant to have."
