Gwyneth Paltrow doesn't enjoy stripping off for film roles and found it 'very embarrassing' to perform a strip-tease in 'Thanks For Sharing'.
The 41-year-old actress, who previously boasted she has the "butt of a 22-year-old stripper," donned skimpy black lingerie for a bedroom scene in the movie 'Thanks For Sharing' earlier this year, and admits she found the experience "very embarrassing" because she is much more conservative in real life.
In a behind-the-scenes interview from the upcoming DVD release of the movie, the blonde beauty said: "Doing the lingerie striptease, I'm not sure exactly how you would classify that, but it was very embarrassing."
Adding "I was not comfortable at all, but, you know, it was a good challenge for me to put myself in a situation that I would never be in in my own life. I'm not an exhibitionist like that. And it was a challenge. I'm this other woman and I'm really going to go for it. And it was fine."
Gwyneth also praised co-star, Mark Ruffalo, for helping her to stay calm during filming.
She said: "Mark is so lovely. He made it very easy."
The Oscar-winner, who has a nine-year-old daughter, Apple, and seven-year-old son, Moses, with her husband, Chris Martin, keeps her body in tip top shape with the help of her friend and business partner, Tracy Anderson, but previously confessed she hates exercising.
She said: "I just sob and then kick and scream and then I just force myself to do it."
