Gwendoline Christie has promised that her 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' character "certainly makes an impact".
The 'Game of Thrones' actress stars as evil Captain Phasma in the latest movie in the franchise and has compared her to bounty hunter Boba Fett.
Speaking on 'Live with Kelly and Michael', she said: "I play Captain Phasma, the captain of the Stormtroopers. She is a member of the First Order and part of the dark side. She's a Boba Fett style character, not at the forefront of the action but she certainly makes an impact."
And Gwendoline is excited about the addition of a female villain to the beloved franchise.
She said: "She is a female villain which is not something we've seen much on screen so far in 'Star Wars' and she has a particularly bad-ass costume.
"We're used to seeing female characters in action movies and relating to them because of how they look but with her we relate to her choices and actions and I think that's really progressive and modern.
The world premiere of 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' was held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday night (14.12.15) with stars including Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong'o and Harrison Ford all in attendance.
