Gwen Stefani has joked that Blake Shelton "forgot" Valentine's Day (14.02.17).
The 47-year-old singer and the country music star were forced to spend the annual romantic holiday apart from one another as Gwen was working in New York whilst Blake was in Oklahoma, but the 'God Gave Me You' singer still managed to send some "beautiful flowers" to mark the special occasion.
Gwen said during an appearance on 'The Today Show': "We weren't together. I was here and he was in Oklahoma. He forgot!
"No, just kidding. I got some beautiful flowers and lots of texts. It was fun. I mean, you know... I'm in New York and he's in Oklahoma."
Previously, the 'Hollaback Girl' hitmaker - who has three sons, Kingston, 10, Zuma, eight, and Apollo, two, with her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale - said she would be having an "awesome" Valentine's Day on her own.
She said: "I am going to be in bed. I have no kids here, no nobody here. It's an empty hotel room. It's gonna be so awesome. No one's gonna ask for anything. It's gonna be silent."
The 'Rich Girl' singer shared some advice for people opting to celebrate Single Awareness Day instead.
Gwen said: "I would say if you could just look at yourself, you're always gonna find something to be grateful for. If you find gratitude, you're gonna find peace. I just noticed that about myself."
Meanwhile, the 40-year-old singer previously gushed about Gwen, who he started a romance with following the end of her marriage to Gavin and his marriage to Miranda Lambert.
He said: "I love talking about Gwen, are you kidding me? It's been just an eye opener to be with someone like her. Believe it or not ... I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I've ever met in my life. It's been good for me to be with somebody that's so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart. And she's hot. Have you seen her? I mean look at that!"
