Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have written a song together.
The 'Voice' coaches - who recently confirmed they are dating - have penned a mid-tempo country ballad, a representative for the 39-year-old singer has confirmed.
A source told People magazine of the song: "It's amazing how good she sounds on a pretty country song.
"And it sure is good to hear Blake singing real country again."
According to the insider, the track - which has yet to be cut - is about telling a lover to leave the relationship if that is what they truly want.
Meanwhile, Blake's friend Luke Bryan is stunned by his pal's new relationship, insisting the star - who split from wife Miranda Lambert in July - could never attract "a girl like that".
He said: "You're trying to trick me. It can't be true, because there's no way Blake could ever score a girl like that. It's not true."
And 'The Voice' presenter Carson Daly is equally surprised the two stars have got together, but insisted he is "thrilled" by the budding romance.
He said on 'The Today Show': "I didn't think Blake could get a girl as hot as Gwen to be honest. I really didn't.
"He's a goofy cowboy. She's the queen of cool. But God bless them. They're two of the nicest people in the business. We're thrilled that they're finding each other."
Following weeks of romance rumours, a representative for Gwen - who split from husband Gavin Rossdale, the father of her sons Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 20 months, in August - confirmed she and Blake are dating.
The spokesperson said: "Gwen and Blake are longtime friends who have very recently started dating."
