Gwen Stefani' and Blake Shelton's famous friends won't be invited to their wedding.
The country singer previously claimed he planned to enlist their friend Adam Levine to perform at their nuptials, but now the No Doubt frontwoman has insisted they are keeping things "really simple" and not only will they not have anyone sing on their big day, they are just planning to exchange vows in front of their loved ones.
Gwen said: "I definitely would love to have Adam sing at our wedding, but you know, the thing is, is that I feel like we're not gonna have a wedding band.
"I feel like we're not. I feel like we're just gonna go with a playlist. We're keeping it very simple—really simple."
'Late Night' host Seth Meyers then said he assumed it was because there would be "a lot of musicians" in attendance, which would put pressure on the wedding band, but the 51-year-old star insisted that's not the case.
She said: "I think that the guest list will not have a lot of musicians. It's gonna be, like, my mom and my dad and just literally going to be just family, and we are looking forward to that."
But Gwen - who has sons Kingston, 14, Zuma, 12, and Apollo, seven, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale - doesn't think having a small wedding will make it any less fun than a lavish celebration.
She added: "Though, it's going to be fun. We're going to make it really fun, but it's not going to be a big, like—you know, it's not like the queen and king are getting married or something."
In December, Blake said he planned to call in "a lot of favours" for the wedding, including asking Adam to perform.
The Maroon 5 frontman recently said he'd be "honoured" to sing for the couple but wasn't expecting to be asked.
He quipped: "They won't ask me, though. They'll probably get like Luke Bryan or somebody."
