Goldie Hawn is in talks to play Amy Schumer's mother in a new comedy.
The 70-year-old actress - whose last big-screen role was 2002's 'The Banger Sisters' - could be set to come out of retirement to take a part in the upcoming film which Jonathan Levine will direct and Paul Feig is producing.
Vulture's Kyle Buchanan first revealed the casting news in a series of tweets.
He wrote: "I hear Amy Schumer landed an Oscar winner to play her mom in Jonathan Levine's upcoming mother-daughter vacation comedy. Any guesses?
"A hint: This woman is an Oscar-winning actress who has played an Oscar-winning actress.
"Jig's up: I hear GOLDIE HAWN is in serious talks to play Amy Schumer's mom. It'd be Goldie's first screen role in almost 15 years! (sic)."
The Wrap later confirmed that Goldie is in talks for the role.
This will be Amy's follow-up to her critically acclaimed comedy 'Trainwreck'.
The movie is based on a script by Katie Dippold and follows a family vacation gone wrong.
