Goldie Hawn keeps her romance with Kurt Russell alive by being “funny”.
The happy couple have been together for 37 years, and they have now shared an insight into their love life, insisting that humour is the key to everything.
Goldie said: "It's not about what you do, it's how you do it."
And Kurt added: "Goldie can literally physically walk away sometimes and make me laugh. She’s funny by nature. She just … is.”
The ‘Overboard’ actress, 74, also said her partner's smart comments amuse her the most "because, you know, Kurt's not goofy.”
Goldie and the 69-year-old ‘Tombstone’ star have never been married to each other despite their almost four-decade romance, but they are more than happy with their blended family, consisting of four children and six grandchildren.
And Kurt - who has Boston, 40, with his ex-wife Season Hubley, and Wyatt, 34, with Goldie - wouldn’t change their family dynamic for the world.
When asked what brings him joy whilst in a joint interview for Parade magazine, he said: "I mean, my family is primarily it."
The news comes after Kurt previously said life with Goldie - who is also mother to 44-year-old Oliver and 41-year-old Kate, whom she has with her ex-husband Bill Hudson - was “spectacular”, as he claimed their romance was "destined" to be something special, despite sometimes having "issues" with their family.
He explained: "It's been spectacular and can't believe that it was destined to be. At the same time, we live a normal life and have all the same issues that other people with four kids have."
