Giuliana Rancic is leaving E!'s red carpet shows.
The 46-year-old presenter has been a stable at awards ceremonies for the last 20 years, but she's now ready to pursue her passion for "great storytelling" and has signed a development deal with the broadcaster's parent company, NBCUniversal.
She announced on Instagram: "After 20 fabulous years hosting E!’s red carpet, I have decided to step out of my red carpet heels into a new pair of shoes.
“One of my passions is great storytelling and I am thrilled to announce a new development deal with E!’s parent company NBCUniversal where I will be producing and bringing stories to life.”
The presenter went on to thank all the people she's worked with over the last two decades and also paid tribute to her loyal fans.
She continued: "To my E! family, thank you for allowing me to make my red carpet dreams come true for the past two decades. It has truly been a highlight of my career and life.
"To my production team throughout the years, you are all simply the best. We have made some beautiful memories together that I will always carry with me.
"And to all the viewers, all around the world, thank you for watching and supporting me as we went along together on this red carpet ride. I love and appreciate you all and I sure hope you will join me as I enter this exciting new chapter [heart emoji] (sic)"
Giuliana 's departure comes three months after Ryan Seacrest revealed in February he was also leaving 'E!'s Live From the Red Carpet' to "move on to new adventures".
He was replaced on the show at the Golden Globe Awards by 'Queer Eye' star Karamo Brown.
And in March, entertainment correspondent Jason Kennedy confirmed his departure from the network after 16 years.
He tweeted at the time: "I've had the time of my life at E!.
"Most recently, I loved being the host of In the Room, but COVID made it impossible to capture interviews with celebrities in a more personal setting, so I have decided to pursue a new opportunities. I'm leaving with a grateful and full heart thinking about my experience, and the lifelong friendships I've made along the way at E!. I have a slate of exciting projects that I've been working on and I can't wait to share with you soon. (sic)"
