The E! host was forced to pull out of the channel's Emmy Awards 'Live From the Red Carpet' special last month, along with Vivica A. Fox after they both had a positive test for the virus.

The latter ended up taking a new test and got a negative result, but Giuliana admitted she and her husband Bill Rancic and their eight-year-old son Duke, who both also tested positive, are "thankful to be on the other side of this".

Giuliana told the news outlet: "I'm happy to say we are back to our normal, daily routine and feeling good.

"Bill, Duke and I are thankful to be on the other side of this and grateful that we were able to quarantine at home together as a family."

In a message to her fans, she added: "I also want to say 'thank you' to everyone who sent us well wishes.

Those messages always managed to put a smile on our faces and we really appreciated everyone's kindness."

At the time, Giuliana had called into the show and insisted they were "all doing well and taking care of each other."

She said: "As I go into my 20th year on the E! red carpet I have to say I do not take missing an award show lightly, but unfortunately this year is just so different."

The presenter explained she discovered she had the virus as a result of "E! and NBCUniversal's very strict testing guidelines".

She added: "Now as much as I didn't want to hear that, I'm very thankful I heard it before I traveled and possibly could have exposed other people.

"I just want to say that I'm wishing you all the best and please protect yourself and protect those around you. Take good care and I'll see you on the next red carpet."

Vivica, meanwhile, found out a day later that the test she did originally wasn't accurate.

In a statement to her fans, she wrote: "On Friday, I took a self-administered COVID-19 test and as many of you are aware it came back positive.

"Two days I took another COVID test, this one administered by a medical professional and I'm thrilled to announce (that) last night my results came back NEGATIVE!

"I'm feeling great, and I want to thank everyone for their show of love and support (sic)"
