Gina Rodriguez's experience of motherhood has been both "exhilarating" and "petrifying".
The 39-year-old actress - who has Charlie, 11 months, with her husband Joe LoCicero - has experienced a range of emotions since she gave birth to her baby boy in 2023.
Reflecting on her experience of motherhood, Gina told 'Entertainment Tonight': "It's freaking, like, every emotion on a million. It is everything, everywhere, all at once. One hundred percent.
"It is the most phenomenal, exhilarating feeling viscerally from the core of my soul and equally as petrifying. It's all of the things."
Gina has also been wowed by her husband's commitment to fatherhood.
The actress shared: "It means absolutely everything.
"I'm able to do the things that I love and be with my son 24/7 because he has him on set. Also, to see your husband with his boy and just be there for every single milestone and to take away that much desire that he may have outside of everything, I owe it all to my husband."
Last year, Gina described herself as being in a "newborn heaven".
The actress - who has been married to Joe since 2019 - revealed that she was loving her experience of motherhood.
Gina - who is best known for playing Jane Villanueva in 'Jane the Virgin' - told PEOPLE: "He's completely developing and evolving every single day. It went from him not making eye contact to making eye contact, him not smiling to smiling.
"He's starting to giggle. Every day is a new something. I swear, sometimes it's a nap and he wakes up and there's a new something, and you're just mind-blown. He's so freaking adorable, and you just want to eat him up."
