Gillian Anderson has started using a swearing jar.
The 'Fall' actress, who has three children, Piper, 20, Oscar, eight, and Felix, six, insists she doesn't really have a potty mouth, but recently agreed to put money into the container every time she uses bad language.
She said: "I just promised my kids that every time I said, 'What the heck,' I would put 50p into a jar. So I'm trying to practice. That's about as bad as it gets in my household, when I say, 'heck,' but they're like, 'Mom, you just swore.' "
Meanwhile, the 46-year-old actress admits she was initially reluctant to agree to portray Dana Scully again in the upcoming reboot of 'The X-Files' alongside David Duchovny.
She told E! News: "The first time I heard they wanted to bring it back I was just like, 'Uh...No. No way in hell.' "
The Emmy winner is set to star in six new episodes of the show that will air in January 2016, but isn't sure what will happen yet.
She said: "I actually don't know a thing.
"I'm a little bit nervous about it because I want it to be really good, but I need to find the right time...Apparently, we had a child, which was conceived in the episode I wrote and directed, so I shouldn't be too shocked, but I kind of forgot about it for a while and had to be reminded...William is like 14 now, so I'm sure he'll show up at some point. That's about all I know."
