Yolanda Foster has revealed she tells her model daughters to go for a ride when their workload begins to take its toll because it helps the pair - who were brought up on a farm - to stay grounded.

Speaking to E! at New York Fashion Week, the 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star said: "This is all great and beautiful, but this is business, this is work.

"I can see when this all becomes too much, I put them on a horse, let them jump a couple of courses, and that's when they get back to, 'OK, I remember, this is who I am.'

"At the end of the day, both Gigi and Bella are simple girls that were raised on a farm in Santa Barbara, riding horses every day of their lives."

Last year, Bella was said to be setting her sights on a place in the Equestrian team at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games, and the 19-year-old model admitted that while other stars love yoga, her main passion is horse riding.

She said: "My devotion stemmed from my mom's love of horses. I have been riding since I could walk and the fact that my mom knew everything about horses really helped my passion grow,

"You know how every model is like, 'I do yoga'. Well, I find horses have the same effect.

"You have to put your ego aside and concentrate on making the horse do the things you want it to do, and move in the way you want it to move."
