Geri Horner has been left devastated after the death of her pet dog, Harry.
The former Spice Girls singer took to her Twitter account to post a picture of her and the late Shih Tzu - who she got from London's Battersea Dogs and Cats Home with the help of her pal George Michael - in their heyday after he passed away today (23.02.16).
She wrote: "Rip my darling dog Harry died today. amazing companion to me .He was from @batterseadogsandcatshome . Thank you (sic)"
Battersea - which houses rescued, lost, abandoned and unwanted animals - thanked the 43-year-old beauty for giving the canine a "loving home" for more than 16 years.
A tweet on the rescue centre's official Twitter account read: "We're so sorry for your loss Geri. Thank you for giving him a loving home. We're thinking of you at this difficult time."
Geri's pet pooch once got her in trouble at former British Prime Minister Tony Blair's countryside residence Chequers when her fluffy four-legged friend defecated on the politician's floor.
She said: "We were in Mr Blair's study and Harry went in the corner of the room. I was so embarrassed I had to ask for tissues to clear it up."
The star also once thought Harry and her pet Pomeranian, Daddy, had homosexual tendencies.
She said: "They are always kissing each other - but are both boys!"
While Geri is in mourning over Harry, she may have adopted a new pet after receiving an unexpected visit from a lizard yesterday (22.02.16).
She recorded a short video of the reptile and asked her 390,000 Twitter followers whether she should keep the green creature.
Geri tweeted: "How random a visit from a lizard ! Shall we keep him ? Or her"
What's more, Geri and her husband Christian Horner adopted a pet lamb last month.
She posted a picture of the baby sheep and wrote: "Trying to catch the little lamb we are adopting , I'm a rubbish shepherd ! (sic)"
