George Shelley has lifted the lid on his night spent with Selena Gomez.
The 'Carry You' singer says he wouldn't rule out a future date with the 'Come and Get It' singer, but insisted they never enjoyed a secret hook-up during a "private party" at her hotel, after Union J opened her Portugal gig last month.
George told website Entertainmentwise: "[Did I go on a date with Selena?] No, no! We just all hung out at her hotel, we went for drinks."
The 20-year-old pop star - who has previously admitted his crush on the Selena - says he would be keen to go on a date Justin Bieber's ex now that they have become acquainted.
He gushed: "I would go on a date with Selena in the future, if possible.
"She's a lovely girl, who wouldn't want to date a lovely girl? She's super hot. She's very classy."
Jaymi Hensley was quick to defend his bandmate, as he explained: "I think there is a lot of hysteria because George is obviously single and young and he's the cutest. Everyone wants to make up hype but we all went on tour with Selena she was really welcoming and all of her dancers were really lovely to us so we just had a few beers and pizza."
