Elisabetta Canalis is "happy" her ex-boyfriend George Clooney is getting married to Amal Alamuddin.
The 35-year-old beauty, who dated the Hollywood hunk for 18 months until their split in 2011, is pleased her former beau has found happiness with Amal, 36.
Speaking to Chi magazine, she said: "I am happy for him, but I am thinking only of my happiness."
She added: "[I] cannot but send him my most sincere congratulations."
Elisabetta is set to tie the knot with Brian Perri in Italy in September - the same month and country George and Amal are getting hitched - but she insists it is just a coincidence their weddings are around the same time.
She explained: "I chose the date some time ago and September is the most beautiful time -- for those who do not know Sardinia -- to appreciate it. Otherwise I would have had to wait a year."
Meanwhile, Elisabetta's engagement news comes just two months after she sadly suffered a miscarriage.
The TV presenter posted on WhoSay that she had tragically lost her unborn child and offered her support to other women who are going through the same "suffering".
She wrote at the time: "Unfortunately, life gives you ... a reality that you do not expect, and that is very hard to accept, even if you think you are strong enough and prepared. You're never really ready to be told that there is no more beating [heartbeat] and that it had already stopped long ago."
