George Clooney's ex Elisabetta Canalis has got engaged to orthopedic surgeon Brian Perri, and both she and George are set to tie the knot in Italy next month.
The 35-year-old beauty is set to tie the knot with Brian Perri in Italy next month, as is George and his new fiancée Amal Alamuddin, after the orthopedic surgeon popped the question, the Italian actress' representative has confirmed to Us Weekly.
A source told the publication that the happy couple are to wed on September 14 in Sardinia, while George and Amal - who got engaged in April - are expected to marry at his home in Lake Como next month.
Elisabetta and George dated for nearly 18 months before splitting in June 2011, but she is said to be pleased that he has found happiness with 36-year-old Amal.
An insider told the publication: "She's happy for him. They have both moved on to find their own happiness."
Elisabetta's happy news comes just two months after she suffered a miscarriage.
The TV presenter posted on WhoSay that she had tragically lost her unborn child and offered her support to other women who are going through the same "suffering".
The brunette beauty - who was due to give birth in the autumn - wrote: "Unfortunately, life gives you ... a reality that you do not expect, and that is very hard to accept, even if you think you are strong enough and prepared. You're never really ready to be told that there is no more beating [heartbeat] and that it had already stopped long ago.
"I just want to say to all those women who are going through it to stay strong because life goes on and it is nobody's fault and nature acts in incomprehensible ways. We can only accept it. I just want to say that I feel you close, if you are suffering as I am doing. We can't deny it, it's like an incessant sorrow you can't get rid of."
