George and Amal Clooney haven't chosen names for their twins yet.
The couple will welcome their babies into the world later this year but are putting off selecting the right monikers for the tots because they don't want people to weigh in with unwanted opinions.
George said: "No we haven't picked out any names and I'll tell you why.. Because I've had friends pick out names around their parents and then it becomes... Whatever name you pick they're like, 'Oh, I don't like that. That guy's a prime minister' 'Can't name her Susan. You remember your Aunt Susan?' "
The 55-year-old hunk admitted he "didn't know" he'd become a father one day but after he and his lawyer spouse tied the knot in September 2014, it seemed right it would be the "next step" in their lives.
He told E! News: "Can you believe it?! Yeah, [I'm] even happier [than before,].
"I didn't know that we'd have kids. I was very happy that we were going to get married and then [a pregnancy] seemed like the next step."
George shot to fame playing paediatrician Dr. Doug Ross on medical drama series 'E.R.' from 1994 to 1999 and he joked his fictional experience taught him all he needs to know about caring for his kids.
Asked if he needs to start practicing changing diapers, he said: "Hang on for a minute. I played a paediatrician on 'E.R'.
"So I know how to work on extra children... If there's any accidents I'm there. I'm the guy."
The 'Monuments Men' star recently insisted the fact he "knows swaddling" means he's ready for parenthood.
"He said: I know swaddling. I know what I'm in for."
But for the meantime George feels he can't do anything to help, except be on call to make cups of tea for his 39-year-old spouse.
He said: "I don't have anything to do. There is nothing I can do to help, but make tea and stuff.
"She is doing really great. She is amazing."
