Gavin Rossdale's children will always "come first".
The Bush frontman has revealed he plans his life around his three sons, Kingston, nine, Zuma, seven, and Apollo, 20 months, who he has with estranged wife Gwen Stefani.
He said: "My children come first. The boys interact so well, and they truly love each other. hey are so sweet and protective of each other, and they have little dance parties.
"I am always on the lookout to see what they are doing next and how they are working their naughty habits!"
And despite splitting from the 'What You Waiting For' hitmaker earlier this year, the 50-year-old musician won't let the divorce ruin his Christmas plans with his kids.
He told PEOPLE magazine: "I am taking the boys on a special trip on December 26. Where we are going is a big surprise!"
Meanwhile, the former couple are reportedly planning on spending at least some of the holiday period together to make things as "normal as possible" for their kids.
A source said: "It's very likely they will be together for some parts of it, but Gwen still wants to have the holidays as normal as possible because of her kids.
"So Gwen may do a more traditional holiday with Gavin when their kids open up the presents, but it's clear to her children they are not with each other in any romantic capacity."
