Frank Ocean's mother has urged fans not to waste their money buying his magazine on eBay.
The rapper released his long-awaited new album 'Blonde' and an accompanying publication 'Boys Don't Cry' at the weekend, and the zine, which was only on sale in limited stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and London quickly sold out.
Several buyers have now posted their copies on auction site eBay, with bidding already reaching $1,000, but Katonya Breaux has appeared to suggest her son will be making more available for sale after urging his supporters not to give in and pay the high prices.
She tweeted: "Don't Pay those ridiculous prices for the mags on eBay. Just hang tight a sec.. (sic)".
Katonya also joins her son on 'Be Yourself', a track on his new album.
Amongst other writings, 'Boys Don't Cry' includes a poem from Frank's friend Kanye West about fast food chain McDonalds.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the poem includes the lines: "McDonald's man / McDonald's man / The french fries had a plan / The french fries had a plan / The salad bar and the ketchup made a band / Cus the french fries had a plan...The cheeseburger and the shakes formed a band / To overthrow the french fries plan / I always knew them french fries was evil, man...
"I knew the Diet Coke was jealous of the fries / I knew the McNuggets was jealous of the fries / Even the McRib was jealous of the fries / I could see it through his artificial meat eyes / And he only be there some of the time / Everybody was jealous of them french fries / Except for that one special guy / That smooth apple pie."
Frank's first full-length major label album since 'channel ORANGE' in July 2012 was initially expected to be released in July 2015 but the release date was pushed back several times because he wanted it to be perfect.
