Fergie and Josh Duhamel write "ultra corny" songs for their baby Axl Jack.
The Black Eyed Peas star and her actor husband like to sing together for their baby, who was born in August, but she admits their compositions would never make it onto one of her albums.
She told Perez Hilton "[Axl] inspires me to make ultra corny songs up, and Josh and I harmonise. We're like that couple in [film] 'Best in Show' who sing about their dogs."
Fergie - real name Stacy Duhamel - released her debut solo album, 'The Duchess' in 2006, and says while she's been putting down some ideas for a follow up, she's too concentrated on motherhood to think about going back into the studio.
She added: "I'm kind if in my cave right now just being a fan of music and listening to new stuff, listening to old stuff.
"I get ideas sporadically and when they come I go immediately to my notebook and record, then I just put it away. These ideas are coming to me and it reminds me of how 'The Duchess' was made, because those songs are from a seven year period.
"I'm just gathering the ideas that I get inspired by, so that when I am ready all of those are going to come together and I'm going to release my second solo album."
