Felicity Jones says her 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' character was inspired by Beyonce.
The 33-year-old actress looked to the 'Crazy In Love' singer when she was preparing to play Rebel Alliance fighter Jyn Erso in the hotly-anticipated movie.
She told E! News: "I think she's someone who has incredible power and is devoted to what she does, but she also seems like a very nice person. I think that's very important to emulate ...
"Particularly when I'm doing these scenes, I get really into it. When I'd get home, I wouldn't even realise. I think the adrenaline is pumping around your body so much. Then you get home and you're suddenly like, 'Wow, I've got quite a few bruises going on here.'"
And the brunette beauty thinks it is "wonderful" that young girls are able look up to her character.
She shared previously: "I just feel it's a wonderful moment that young girls get to celebrate someone like Jyn just as they did with Daisy Ridley's Rey [in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens']. She is someone who has great humanity, she has an independent spirit and lives by her beliefs, and I think there's something wonderful about her for a young girl to admire."
Meanwhile, Felicity Jones recently compared making 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story' as like "being in the army".
Asked for the highlight of filming, she said: "It was, just, running ... and having the first assistant director shout at you a lot, shouting, 'Run, move, hide, get out of there! Keep going!' There was a lot of military shouting going on, it was literally like being in the army for seven months! I do have to say that."
