Emma Watson is a lot "sillier" than people might think.
The 'Beauty and the Beast' star "surprises" people with her silliness as others tend to think she's "super serious".
She told Entertainment Tonight: "I think people are surprised in real life that I'm really silly, but that's fine.
"How do say it? 'Under promise, over deliver?' Like, make people think I'm super serious, then I can be like, 'Nah!'"
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old actress - who is an advocate for feminism - previously admitted she has had numerous approaches to write a book on the topic but won't be doing so until later in life.
She said: "I need to see and do a bit more first. It's not like I have been reading this material for years and I don't have an encyclopaedic knowledge. It can be a lot of pressure sometimes, as people expect me to know so much.
"I'm no expert, and when people push me into a corner of 'Here's Emma Watson to lecture you on feminism', it's uncomfortable because I am aware I have a long way to go. I am not sure I deserve all the respect I get yet, but I'm working on it."
For now, though, Emma is content on reading others' books and recently admitted she loves self-help books that promise to change her life.
She shared: "I love it. I will get really excited reading something like Ariana Huffington's 'The Sleep Revolution'. I am a sucker for anything that promises to change my life.
Having been in the industry for a long time despite her young age, Emma has learned to deal with criticism and admits it has "really toughened" her up.
She said: "There is a level of criticism that comes with being an actress and a public figure, which I expect but once you take a stance on something like feminism, that's a completely different ball game. It really toughened me up."
