Emma Bunton would love there to be a Spice Girls reunion.
The 40-year-old singer - better known as Baby Spice in the girl group - has admitted that while nothing is definite yet she feels their loyal fans "deserve" the chance to be able to celebrate the 'Wannabe' hitmakers' career spanning two decades.
She said: "Our fans deserve something to celebrate 20 years of loyalty. We don't have anything pinned down yet, but I'd love to. Some of the others are keen too. Being Baby Spice is the best, and standing on stage with my best friends next to me? There is no better feeling."
Emma - who is joined by Mel C, Geri Horner, Mel B and Victoria Beckham in the original lineup - is still in regular contact with all of the girls and just yesterday had a phone call from Geri, which lasted well over an hour.
Asked if she misses seeing her bandmates, she told the Daily Mirror newspaper: "I'm lucky I do still see them, but I miss going out with Mel B. Victoria is the funniest person to be around. Mel C is my little breath of fresh air, and me and Geri were on the phone for an hour and a half yesterday."
The girls have been in the headlines for the past few weeks with talk of their plans for a 20th-anniversary reunion.
And three of the girls - Geri, Emma and Mel B - are reportedly set to reform under the name GEM for a one-off concert at London's Hyde Park next July to mark the milestone.
The three appeared in a new video thanking their fans for their loyal support since the release of their debut single 'Wannabe' 20 years ago on Friday (08.07.16), before inviting them to a "party" they're planning to host.
In the video, which has been released on YouTube, Geri says: "You've stood by us for 20 years, and we want to say a big thank you."
Melanie, who is sat alongside her fellow bandmates in a bed, then says: "And we want to celebrate and have a party. And when we do, you're all invited."
At that stage, a cryptic message appears on the screen, suggesting the group's exact plans will be announced at a later date.
The message, which also references 'Wannabe', read: "We hope to tell you soon what you really really want."
However, Victoria Beckham and Melanie Chisholm - who are also known as Posh and Sporty Spice - are noticeably absent from the video, suggesting that if the girls do reunite, it will be as a trio only.
The pair are thought to be reluctant to reunite, even for a one-off gig - but Mel C did tweet earlier today: "Happy 20th birthday Wannabe - you haven't aged a bit!"
