Emily Andre feels "very proud and grateful" to have had a coronavirus vaccine.
The 31-year-old doctor - who has two children with husband Peter Andre - received the first of her two jabs last month and admitted it was a "big moment" in her life.
She said: "I feel great after having my coronavirus vaccine. It felt like a big moment, and I feel very proud and grateful to have received it.
“For me, it was important to get vaccinated as I want to protect my patients and colleagues as much as possible.”
Emily was relieved not to have experienced any side effects from the vaccination.
She added in her OK! magazine column: “I had a sore arm afterwards but I didn’t have any other side effects, like feeling tired or a headache.”
The doctor decided to have the procedure filmed to share on her and husband Peter's YouTube channel in the hope it may be "reassuring" for other people, and the couple aren't too worried about a backlash.
She wrote: “I knew there may be some negative comments about the vaccine, because you’re always going to get people who don’t agree with it or don’t understand why we documented it.
“I hope that if one elderly or vulnerable person felt reassured after watching then it was worthwhile.”
Emily tested positive for coronavirus in July and had to isolate away from her family but despite the challenges, she insisted they all adapted to the circumstances "really well".
She said at the time: "I was only able to wave at them from the top of the stairs. Myself and Pete also slept in separate bedrooms just to be on the safe side.
"It was horrible but the family adapted to it really well and I got a big hug at the end. I had a sore throat and lost my sense of smell and taste for a week."
And last month, Peter was also stricken by the virus but he has since recovered.
