Elsa Pataky is more sensitive since becoming a mother.
The 'Fast & Furious 6' actress, who has a 13-month-old daughter, India, with her Australian actor husband Chris Hemsworth, also cares more about the environment because she wants her daughter to grow up around nature.
The Spanish star, 36, told UsMagazine.com at the Oceana Beach House Party to celebrate World Oceans Day in Santa Monica, California: "You become more sensitive about a lot of things. With things like this, the ocean, you want to protect it for your kid to be able to see the world the way I saw it. That's important for them to not lose it. There are so many animals endangered now in the ocean; it'll be sad she won't enjoy all those things.
"She loves being at the beach. And she loves little dogs and all animals. I like having her around nature."
The actress admits that being a mother is "difficult" but hinted that she and Chris, 29, are already thinking about having more children because India is growing up so quickly.
She said: "We'll see.
"Every mom knows that being a mom is difficult.
"She's almost walking, and she says, 'mama' and 'papa.' "
