Elizabeth Hurley and Hugh Grant used to "fight all day" about their future children.
The former couple dated for 13 years until 2000 and though they "never" seriously explored the idea of starting a family together, the 'Strictly Confidential' actress admitted she and the 'Four Weddings and a Funeral' star - who is now dad to Tabitha, 12, and Felix, 11, with actress Tinglan Hong, and John, 11, an eight-year-old daughter and a five-year-old son with current wife Anna Eberstein - constantly squabbled about whose genes their future offspring would inherit.
Asked if any part of her wishes she had had a child with Hugh, Elizabeth - who has Damian, 22, with late former partner Steve Bing - told 'Radio Andy' host Andy Cohen: "You know, you'd think all that, but of course had that happened, I wouldn't have baby [Damian], so you could never regret anything.
"Of course, we used to think about it because we used to fight all day. We used to look in the mirror next to each other and say, 'It would have to be my eyes.' 'No, my eyes.' 'Your hair?' 'No, my hair. I've got a much better mouth.'
"So, we used to bicker for hours about who would look like who and, of course, none of his children look like him as it happened."
Damian - who is Hugh's godson - then added: "I do, bizarrely."
His mother agreed: "Yeah, he does."
The 58-year-old beauty admitted she was "kind of" surprised that her former partner is now a dad of five.
She said: "He's got five. He's a very good dad. He has five children that worship him. They adore him. They sit on Daddy's knee and all that stuff."
Damian has made his directorial debut with 'Strictly Confidential' but he's been making amateur movies since he was a child, and used to "torture" his famous godfather to be part of his productions.
He said: "When I was eight, I got my first camcorder and I started writing and directing short films, torturing every long-suffering family member, friend, my godfather, Hugh, mom's ex.
"Everyone I could get my hands on, and so my mom was the star of many, many of those.
"I tortured [Hugh]. He was phenomenal. So loyal, so kind."
