Elizabeth Hurley has become a dog breeder after her spaniel Ava gave birth to puppies.
The 55-year-old star's pooch had the brood after being mated with a friend's dog and the actress - who often shares snaps of her pets on Instagram - had been keen to see what the pups would like having wanted to breed her dogs "for years".
A source told The Sun newspaper: “Liz has wanted pups for years but her schedule has made it impossible.
"Being at home so much in the pandemic gave her the perfect opportunity.”
Most of the puppies are said to have found new homes but Liz and her son Damian, 19, may keep one of the pooches at her mansion in Herefordshire.
Meanwhile, the star is also planning to make an "at home in the country" series on her social media channels to give fans an insight into her life at home.
A source explained: "Liz has a huge and loyal social media following and she knows they’d love to see more of her home life.
"She’s also looking forward to taking part in a project with Damian. It would be great fun."
Elizabeth also believes that the series could be an "eye-opener" to the lesser-known sides of her personality.
The source explained: "Although Liz is very glam, she’s also determined to show people how hardy she is. She’s great at DIY and she loves gardening.
"It will be an eye-opening gander."
The brunette beauty had a famous long-term relationship with Hugh Grant between 1987 and 2000 and says the pair have remained "extremely" close since they split up.
Appearing on the 'People in the '90s' podcast, Elizabeth said: "I'm still extremely good friends with Hugh. You know, we went through so much together. But I've been thinking, one of the most important things to keep good relations with your exes is to have a lot of respect for their current life."
