Eddie Redmayne doesn't want to know the sex of his baby.

The 'Theory of Everything' star has admitted he initially wanted to find out the gender of his first child but his wife Hannah Bagshawe quickly expelled the thought and he didn't want to disagree as she "wears the trousers".
He said: "It's gonna be a surprise. I was like, 'Maybe we should find out?', but my wife was like, 'We are not finding out', so she wears the trousers. [It's] one of the great surprises that still exists in the world."
And the 34-year-old actor has been so busy that he hasn't had a chance to check out the parenting guide he's been given but he isn't too worried as they have "a while" before the baby is due.
He added to Extra! TV: "We got our first book, which is looking at us, and we are staring guiltily as we should be learning how to be parents, but we haven't opened them yet. We have got a while."
Meanwhile, Eddie previously revealed the happy couple had already started working on the "logistics" of welcoming a child into the world.
He said: "It's quite a few months away, but we started looking at all the logistics. The list of things you're meant to get before going to the hospital, and it's a long list of stuff right there!"
