Dwayne Johnson is unfazed by bad reviews.
Whilst his new movie 'Baywatch' has been received well by fans, critics have slated it but the 45-year-old actor doesn't seem too bothered by these criticisms.
He wrote on Twitter: "Yay positive upticks ... Fans LOVE the movie. Critics HATE it. What a glaring disconnect. People just want to laugh & have fun. #Baywatch ...
"Oh boy, critics had their venom & knives ready. Fans LOVE the movie. Huge positive scores. Big disconnect w/ critics & people. #Baywatch (sic)"
Dwayne also spent the day retweeting and sharing positive reviews from fans and the odd movie critic on his Twitter page.
One fan wrote: "#Baywatch is f***ing hilarious! Haven't laughed this hard in the theater in a long time. @TheRock and @ZacEfron are absolute GOLD! (sic)"
To which Dwayne replied: "Thanks man!! We had great chemistry. Glad you LOVED the movie. #BAYWATCH (sic)"
Whilst another fan wrote: "Loved @baywatchmovie! Went in expecting good humor, slow-mo running, and @TheRock to crush it. Check. Check. Check. #Baywatch (sic)"
Meanwhile, 'Baywatch' producer Beau Flynn has revealed they are already planning a sequel to the action comedy movie.
He said: "We have an amazing story already. We're bringing back [Damian] Shannon and [Mark] Swift who wrote on the first one, and I know Dwayne would be in, I know Zac and all the girls would be. We just have this really cool idea to put them in this whole new world. We would take it overseas."
Asked if she'd be up for a sequel Alexandra Daddario, who plays Summer Quinn, added: "Yes! I would love to. I think it's very cool to be part of a franchise, and I think it helps get other work. It's fun. You get to travel the world and work with these amazing people, and you get to make people laugh, so I'm completely down for it."
