Drake will reportedly join Rihanna when she collects her Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards tonight (28.08.16).
The Canadian rapper surprised the 'Diamonds' hitmaker with her very own billboard after it was announced she will receive the prestigous accolade, but it's now believed he's also set to be by her side at the ceremony in Madison Square Garden, New York, according to Page Six.
Sources told the publication: "Drake is confirmed to attend Sunday night's show."
Drake purchased the huge sign on Friday (26.08.16) emblazoned with the words 'Congratulations to Rihanna from Drake and everyone at OVO' for the 28-year-old singer and Rihanna she couldn't hide her pleasure when she shared a picture of it on Instagram and captioned it: "When he extra" alongside an emoji of a trophy.
The gift set tongues wagging they are an item again but Rihanna is said to be planning to discuss their future together after this weekend is over.
A source said: "That's the sweetest thing any man's ever done for Ri. She's still in shock and has been being all giddy about it since it's gone up.
"It's really hard for Rihanna to shake Drake, especially when he goes out of his way to do something so sweet and on the highest magnitude possible. His congratulatory Billboard is epic and one for the ages.
"She certainly appreciates the gesture and once this weekend cools off she's going to personally thank Drake and talk to him about what they want to do now that she believes he's interested in her and wants more."
