Following the 'Diamonds' hitmaker's confession that he was "in love" with the the 28-year-old Rihanna at the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs) at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday (28.08.16) a source has revealed that the pair are in fact a couple.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight the source said Drake and Rihanna were "definitely a couple" and added: "They are fully dating.
"No one really knows how long they have been 'official,' they just decided to let it become a thing instead of hiding it from everyone. They're happy."
At the VMAs afterparty the pair were reportedly inseparable, and the 29-year-old 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker was said not to be able to take his eyes off Rihanna.
The source said: "They walked in together and never left each other's side all night. He was so attentive to her. His eyes were never off her.
"They were necking a lot. They would hug and he would kiss into her neck."
There have been rumours that the pair have been dating for sometime and Drake's heartfelt admission at the awards ceremony only added fuel to the fire.
Presenting the 'Work' hitmaker with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award he said of the brunette beauty: "She's someone I've been in love with since I was 22 years old. She's one of my best friends in the world. All my adult life, I've looked up to her, even though she's younger than me. She's a living, breathing legend in our industry, ladies and gentleman, the recipient of the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award for 2016, Rihanna."
