Drake insists he isn't "lonely and emotional".
Forget the lyrics of his music that contain verses of angst and heartbreak these are not based on real life emotions or the state of mind he is in, not at all, to be fair he is "sick" of fans assuming he is "lonely and emotional".
"I'm so sick of people saying that I'm like lonely and emotional, and associating me with this, like, longing for a woman. I hate that. It bothers me so much.
"I do make music that makes you feel something, but I'm actually not that guy in real life, I'm happy. I'm very excited, my life is constantly exciting it's not some sad depressing story." he says.
The 26-year-old star, who recently found himself embroiled in a grudge with outspoken R&B star Chris Brown, also feels fans and the public alike misjudge him, presuming him to be hot tempered and foul-mouthed again something he denies vehemently.
Recently in an interview on Canada's CBC Radiohe said "People just want me to go off more and lose my composure, and then that way I guess I would make more headlines or be more iconic. But that's not me. I'm a naturally poised individual."
Drake and Chris were infamously involved in a bar brawl at New York's W.i.P. nightclub in June 2012 and it's alleged the fight was over their mutual love interest, Rihanna.
So stopjudging the guy he is what he is - a well mannered talent that covers his pals 'backs' as in Rihanna.
