Doris Day isn't "fond" of birthdays any more.
The 'Pillow Talk' star turned 92 today (03.04.16) but insists she doesn't worry about her age, as how she feels inside is what is important.
She said: "I'm not really fond of birthdays anymore.
"Age is just a number. How you feel and live your life is more important."
Doris planned to spend today with a few close friends and her beloved pets but yesterday (02.04.16), the Doris Day Animal Foundation threw a party and fundraiser in her honour in order to raise money for their work.
She added in a statement to People magazine: "The Doris Day Animal Foundation team is putting on another big celebration
"And I am so grateful and honoured that fans and friends come from all over the world to help support the precious four-leggers."
The 'Que Sera, Sera' singer previously admitted she still feels "young at heart".
Speaking in 2011, she said: "I love life. I have my pets around me and good friends. I'm young at heart and I love to laugh. There's nothing better."
Despite having many happy memories to look back on, Doris - who has been divorced three times and was left devastated by the death of her son Terry Melcher in 2004 - previously admitted she carries a lot of "sorrow".
She said: "I have had a lot of sorrow, and I still feel that."
