Donna Air has "finally" put on weight in lockdown - after trying for years.
The 41-year-old actress and media personality has been "quite relaxed" about what she has been eating in lockdown and has managed to go up two jean sizes, something which she has been trying to do all her life.
Speaking to new! magazine, she said: "I've been quite relaxed about what I eat. For the first time in my life, I've finally put on some weight, which is amazing. I've gone up two jeans sizes during lockdown and it's never, ever happened in my life no matter how much I've tried, so I'm actually quite happy about it. I kind of like my new curves."
Last year, Donna tested positive for coronavirus and was struck by "mild flu-like symptoms".
Taking to Instagram, she shared: "Hi Guys. I hope everyone is managing to stay strong and in relatively good spirits during the lockdown. I just wanted to let you know developed mild flu like symptoms and started self isolating 18 days ago, I took a test for some clarity & the results tested positive for Covid19. Thankfully symptoms improved shortly after and my loved ones are not displaying any signs of the virus. I will continue to follow government guidelines & in the meantime I am sending masses of love to you all... especially those on the front line. (sic)"
And Donna didn't want to worry her loved ones by mentioning her condition until she was on the mend.
Explaining her decision to not reveal the diagnosis until later, she said: "Best not add to the fear that’s already out there, Fear weakens our immune system! Which is why I wanted to wait until I was ok to share with friends and family."
