Dita Von Teese thinks her body confidence stems from learning ballet as a child.
The 43-year-old beauty is often pictured in skimpy outfits, yet Dita doesn't mind flashing her flesh because she spent so many hours in front of a mirror during her childhood when she was learning ballet.
She explained: "I was raised in ballet. I was used to being in front of mirrors with very little clothes on, noticing how I could change how my body looks according to which posture I'm in. I noticed how to pay attention to carriage. You can totally manipulate how your body appears."
Meanwhile, Dita also insisted she doesn't feel intimidated by other strong women and relishes spending time in their company.
She told the Sunday Times newspaper: "I love women who are interesting and talented. I am not intimidated by them at all."
However, Dita admitted she is cautious when in the company of a certain type of woman.
She said: "The ones you have to worry about are the ones who seem unassuming. The ones you don't think could steal your man. Those are the ones figuring out how they can."
