Dianna Agron says Cory Monteith's death still "doesn't seem real" and it is yet to sink in.
The 'Glee' actress claims she is still coming to terms with the death of her co-star who was found dead in a hotel room in Vancouver, Canada, as a result of an accidental drug overdose, following a heroin and alcohol binge in July.
Speaking during an appearance on Katie Couric's talk show 'Katie', she said: "It's one of those things that still doesn't seem real, you just take out a new lease on life and you realise that he's smiling down on us.
"We all have nothing but the truth, which is he was one of the most amazing people that I've ever met - generous, loving, kind -and that's how he'll always be remembered."
Cory - who was engaged to co-star Lea Michele - will be remembered along with other deceased actors, including 'The Sopranos' star James Gandolfini, during the 2013 Emmy Awards "In Memoriam" tribute on Sunday, September 22.
Ceremony producer Ken Ehrlich described Cory's death as "tragic".
He said: "We felt it needed to be represented, that at 31, he passed away under very tragic circumstances. And that it was important to be responsive to younger viewers, to whom Cory Monteith meant as much as perhaps these other four individuals meant to their own generations."
