Denise Welch has branded Katie Hopkins an "evil bitch".
The former 'Loose Women' panelist has spoken out against the controversial star to insist the way she targets people unnecessarily is "nasty".
Speaking about Katie's newspaper column, in which she recently claimed she "didn't care" about the migrant crisis, Denise said: "I've had my own column and I've got too much on at the moment but I wouldn't be nasty about people so maybe it doesn't make a good read.
"But then Carol McGiffin writes a fantastic column - she doesn't hold back but she doesn't set out to hurt people for no reason.
"Katie Hopkins is within her rights to address the opposite politics of Charlotte Church but why say, 'Chubster Church'?
"What has her weight got to do with her politics? Nothing.
"That is what makes her an evil bitch."
The 57-year-old star also admitted she would be tempted to throw a drink over the former 'Apprentice' contestant if they ever met.
She told Daily Star Online: "If she turned up here [the TV Choice Awards] tonight I would have no desire to speak to her face to face but I might trip over with a pint of lager very near her."
Denise added: "I don't give a s**t about Katie Hopkins if I never see her or hear about her ever again.
"I have never met her and I have no desire to."
