Demi Lovato will front her own talk show next month.
The ‘Sorry Not Sorry’ singer will address a wide range of topics from feminism, gender identity, sex and body positivity to mental health to UFOs with guests including Jameela Jamil, Lucy Hale, Nikita Dragun and various experts on ‘The Demi Lovato Show’, which will premiere on Roku on 30 July.
Demi insisted no topics will be “off limits” on the show and they are looking forward to exploring a diverse range of appearances.
The 28-year-old star said in a statement: “Some conversations can be difficult, but I’ve never been one to shy away from speaking candidly about things.
“We wanted to create a space that normalises living your own truth – where people can speak, engage and more importantly, learn, together.
“There’s something therapeutic about having raw discussions that people can relate to and with ‘The Demi Lovato Show’ no topics are off limits and opinions are welcome. I’m so excited for people to see how these conversations unfold on the Roku Channel.”
The show was first announced last year as a Quibi original, but the streaming service shut down before it aired, and earlier this year, Roku confirmed they would be broadcasting the channel’s content.
When the programme was unveiled in February 2020, it was titled ‘Pillow Talk with Demi Lovato' but it seems little has changed about the focus.
In a statement announcing the original show, Demi said: "I've always considered myself someone that speaks honestly about issues that face my generation. We're excited to bring those frank conversations to a public forum, where people can have the opportunity to relate to the topics and guests, while finding room for laughter and learning."
