Demi Lovato claims sexiness is about being "confident and comfortable in your own skin".
The 'Skyscraper' singer has battled with self harm and an eating disorder in the past, but has arrived at a point where she is confident with her looks.
She told Maxim magazine: "To me, sexiness stems from being confident and comfortable in your own skin."
When asked what her best attribute was, she added: "My butt."
Demi, 21, also talked about what she looks for in a man, adding: "To get my attention a guy must be genuine, supportive, real, and have the ability to make me laugh."
Asked what her best mental attribute is, the star said her ability for self-improvement.
She explained: "The ability to work at bettering myself - I'm not perfect, no one is, but I'm working at becoming better every day. Every day I can look back and say I'm in a better place than I was yesterday."
While the 'Heart Attack' hitmaker likes to be sexy, she's not too keen to sing about the intimate side of her relationships in her songs as she doesn't want her relatives to hear.
She explained: "Sex is a part of life and it's a personal decision. Some people put it in their music, which is awesome and good for them.
"But for me, there's still that weird feeling in the back of my head that's like, 'All right, I know that my mom and dad are going to hear it and my little sister, and that's really weird for me.' "
