David Schwimmer is "sure" a full 'Friends' reunion will happen one day.

The 49-year-old actor - who portrayed Ross Gellar on the popular sitcom - is set to reteam with his former co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and Lisa Kudrow for an NBC special honouring TV director James Burrows, but as Matthew Perry won't be there, he can't understand why fans are calling it a 'Friends' reunion.
He said: "I mean, in no way is it a 'Friends' reunion when one member is out of the country.
"But look, it's a great event. We all love James Burrows and I'm sure Matthew Perry would be there if he could, but he's working in London.
"Maybe one day there will be a reunion, but this will not be it.
"I think it's lovely [he show is still popular]. I love that people are that into the show and I would love to see the six of us together and I'm sure one day we will be."
David admitted the show is also popular in his own household and he found it "lovely" walking home one day to find his wife Zoe Buckman and their daughter Cleo tuning in to an old episode.
He told People magazine: "I have a four-and-a-half-year-old daughter and I came home once and saw that my wife was watching an episode with her.
"It was a lovely experience but also quite strange to see that my daughter is looking at me walk in the room.
"Literally she screamed, 'Daddy, you're on TV.' It was really sweet."
