David Duchovny has reportedly rekindled his relationship with his estranged wife Téa Leoni - the mother of his two children.
The pair - who have daughter Madelaine, 15, and son Kyd, 12, together - were spotted looking like love-struck teenagers during a recent family holiday to Fire Island in New York last month.
An eyewitness told America's Star magazine: "They were smiling and cuddling up with one another. They walked hand in hand and shared a kiss."
The insider said their children seemed to be thrilled that they are back together, adding: "They seemed like the perfect family."
The 'X-Files' star actor married the actress in 1997 but separated in 2008 with Duchovny checking into a facility to be treated for sex addiction the same year.
The pair rekindled their romance before splitting again in June 2011.
In 2012, the 'Californication' star insisted they were still married, but separated.
Speaking about his sex addiction, Duchovny, 53, previously said: "Sex, to me, means I can forget myself. It's just the moment. I heard that skiing is even better than sex. It could be possible - but I'm not a skier."
