David Beckham surprised a group of Argentine children by playing soccer with them in a shanty-town.

The 40-year-old retired sports star is currently on a globe-trotting adventure to play seven games on seven continents, and has documented the latest leg of his journey - which took him to the notoriously tough slum of Villa 1-11-14 in Buenos Aires, Argentina - via his Instagram account.
The UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, who donned an Argentina shirt for the occasion, posted a picture of himself sat alongside local children under a mural of Pope Francis, and captioned it: "Amazing day in Buenos Aires playing with the kids from the community .. (sic)"
In another snap posted on Instagram, the former England captain is seen grinning broadly while he plays alongside the children.
Beckham wrote: "Smiles all around .. The passion of these kids and people for this game in the country is truly amazing."
Earlier in his adventure, Beckham visited the Ali Addeh refugee camp in Djibouti, eastern Africa, and subsequently admitted to being shocked by what he encountered.
He said: "This is the first time I have visited a refugee camp.
"It's shocking to see how children's lives can be turned upside down as a result of conflict and violence and as a father it breaks my heart to see children living in such difficult circumstances."
